Frequently asked questions
Is this bundle only for clinicians who provide ketamine-assisted psychotherapy?
This bundle is designed for licensed mental health professionals who facilitate, support, assess, or collaborate in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. You do not need to be the prescribing or administering provider to benefit from these courses.
Do I need to take Part 1 before Part 2?
The courses are designed to work together, but they can be taken in either order. Many clinicians find it helpful to start with the medical assessment course for context, then move into psychological assessment to see how the pieces integrate.
Will this bundle teach me how to prescribe or administer ketamine?
No. The focus is on assessment, readiness, contraindications, and ethical decision-making. The courses do not provide training on prescribing, administering, or dosing ketamine beyond what is necessary for informed assessment and collaboration.
How is this different from general KAP training programs?
This bundle focuses specifically on assessment—not facilitation techniques or treatment experiences. It’s designed to strengthen clinical judgment, ethical clarity, and interdisciplinary collaboration at the front end of KAP care.
Is this bundle appropriate if I’m newer to ketamine-assisted psychotherapy?
Yes. The bundle is often used as a foundational step for clinicians entering KAP-related work. It provides clear frameworks without assuming advanced medical or psychedelic specialization.
Do you offer accommodations for participants with disabilities?
Yes. Psychedelic Affirming Education is committed to providing equal access to our courses in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and similar laws. We provide appropriate accommodations for participants with physical, visual, auditory, and other legally-recognized disabilities. To request accommodations, please contact us. Our team will guide you through the process and respond to your request within 10 business days.
